The Deliveryman App collects background location data to:

📌 Important:

  • Background location is collected only while the delivery partner is on duty or has an active order

  • Location tracking stops when the delivery task is completed or the delivery partner goes offline


8. Foreground Service Permissions

(Deliveryman & Vendor Apps)

a. Deliveryman App

Foreground services are used to:

  • Display ongoing delivery status

  • Enable navigation and order alerts

  • Ensure uninterrupted tracking during active deliveries

b. Vendor App

Foreground services may be used to:

  • Receive real-time order notifications

  • Manage order preparation and status updates

  • Ensure timely communication with customers and delivery partners

These services run only when the app is actively in use and are essential for core app functionality.


9. Children’s Privacy

ChopHop is not intended for users under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
